Our Lodge

Since opening our second stage on the 14th January 2014, our lodge has been running to capacity. Bookings for accommodation are essential. Contact the Lodge as soon as you have confirmed dates for treatment.

Overnight accommodation is also available on weekends. Ring the Lodge for accommodation enquiries. On weekends you will be connected to one of our volunteers.

Guests from many areas from country NSW, some from Sydney and some from the lower Blue Mountains have stayed with us.

Cancer Care Western NSW provided establishment funding for the Clinical Trials Unit at Orange Health Service for 3 years.

The Unit is now independent. It services the Central West and Orange are. The Trials Unit is working to assist and access patients in remote areas using ‘teletrials’ through the Telehealth Systems.

Brothers v Brothers with Knox Old Boys and EMUS RUGBY UNION (ORANGE) CLUBS

Brothers v Brothers who fund raise, have this year joined forces with Emus Rugby Union Club in Orange. Bryn and Jason Robertson who lost their brother to cancer, together with Emus Rugby Club and Knox Old Boys Ruby organised an outstanding day of Rugby at Endeavour Oval in Orange with an evening of good food, music and dancing at the club. They raised $65,000 which was shared between Cancer Care Western NSW (for our Lodge) and Orange Cancer Service Clinical Trials Unit.

We are hoping to see more of the rugby boys and their friends in 2019 for another amazing day of competitive Rugby, good food, dancing and fundraising.

Don't forget to follow us on Facebook. A big thank you to our supporters and a special thanks to our guests who have written such wonderful testimonials.
