Tooheys New Crew
Garden Makeover - 27th August 2011
In August 2011, the Tooheys New Crew handed over the garden majeover that they had donated on behalf of western and rural communities.
The garden makeover was attended by 150 volunteers who worked steadily amongst the garden crew to help make the garden a reality. Improvements included a large roof cover over the pergola, additional outside seating areas, gardens and plantings.
This was the largest group of volunteers to help on a crew project, and included participants from Dubbo West Rotary Club and Wellington Rotary. The cost was estimated at over $100,000.
